Peran Bimtek Virtual Dalam Peningkatan Pengetahuan Penyuluh Pertanian Di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

Penyuluh pertanian memiliki peranan penting dalam pembangunan pertanian. Penyuluh perlu terus ditingkatkan kompetensinya agar dapat mengemban tugas secara baik. Salah satu metode untuk meningkatan kompetensi penyuluh di saat pandemic Covid-19 yaitu menggunakan metode Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Virtual. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran metode Bimtek Virtual dalam peningkatan pengetahuan penyuluh dan petugas pertanian di DI Yogyakarta. Kajian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 September 2020 pada saat pelaksanaan Bimtek Virtual dengan topik “Teknologi Pakan Sapi Potong Pada Musim Kemarau”. Metode Bimtek Virtual yang digunakan adalah presentasi, demonstrasi cara, dan diskusi/tanya jawab yang dilaksanakan melalui Zoom Meeting dengan tautan https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84356879907?pwd=V0tzcUllYmgr VlNhSjVEN1doUENIQT09, meeting ID: 834 5687 9907, dan Password: 570531. Metode kajian dilakukan secara survei melalui pengisian daftar pertanyaan terstruktur melalui google form dengan tautan https://bit.ly/33bl7pc untuk pretest dan https://bit.ly/2ZiQe1z untuk postest. Responden adalah semua peserta kegiatan Bimtek virtual sebanyak 63 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi aspek pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan Bimtek Virtual. Data dianalisis dengan membandingkan hasil pretest dan postest, dilakukan uji t-test untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta Bimtek Virtual sebesar 30%, dari uji t-test menunjukkan terdapat beda nyata pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan sesudah bimtek virtual dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Bimtek Virtual dengan materi “Teknologi Pakan sapi Potong Pada Musim Kemarau” terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta.

ABSTRACT

Agricultural extension workers have an important role in agricultural development. Extension workers need to continuously improve their competence in order to carry out their duties properly. The method to increase the competence of extension workers during the Covid-19 pandemic is using the Virtual Technical Guidance (Bimtek) method. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the Virtual "Bimtek" method in increasing the knowledge of agricultural extension workers and officers in Yogyakarta. The study was carried out on September 9, 2020 during the implementation of the Virtual Bimtek with the topic "Beef Cattle Feed Technology in the Dry Season". The Virtual Bimtek methods used presentations, demonstrations, and discussions/questions which are held via Zoom Meeting with the link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84356879907?pwd=V0tzcUllYmgrVlNhSjVEN1doUENIQT09, meeting ID: 834 5687 9907, and Password: 570531. The study method was carried out in a survey by filling out a list of structured questions via google form with the link https://bit.ly/33bl7pc for the pretest and https://bit.ly/2ZiQe1z for the posttest. Respondents were all 63 participants of virtual Bimtek activities. The data collected includes aspects of knowledge before and after the implementation of the Virtual Bimtek. The data were analyzed by comparing the results of the pretest and posttest, a t-test was conducted to determine the increase in knowledge. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of the Virtual Bimtek participants by 30%, the t-test showed that there was a significant difference in the knowledge of the participants before and after the Virtual Bimtek with a 95% confidence level. Virtual Bimtek with the material "Beef Cattle Feed Technology in the Dry Season" has been proven to increase participants' knowledge.
